About me
I am Leah Kelley, EdD, (she/her) an education consultant, writer, activist, parent, and teacher educator, who identifies as Neurodivergent and otherwise disabled. My research interests include connecting disability studies in education (DSE) to educational practice, strength-based perspectives for supporting Neurodiversity, undermining ableism, and cultivating advocacy and pride.
I am excited that my book, "The Person Who Arrives: Connecting Disability Studies and Educational Practice for Teachers, Parents, and Others," has recently been published. I also author the bog Thirty Days of Autism.
