About me
Michael McSheehan’s life work has been at the intersection of disability and K-12 education. During his twenty years at the University of New Hampshire, he worked on projects for assistive technology, inclusive education, alternate assessment, RTI & PBIS, and MTSS. Michael helped establish and lead the SWIFT Education Center, a national technical assistance center, helping states, districts, and schools to facilitate inclusive school reform. Michael now works as a private consultant collaborating with educators to enhance the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional experiences of students with disabilities. Michael loves using his ADHD talents to get creative with teams and solve challenging problems. Michael is owner of Evolve &Effect, LLC - Assisting education agencies and disability-related organizations with learning, equity, and change.
