About me
Boozhoo/Hello, my name is Krista, and I am an Anishinnabe Kwe (Ojibwe Woman). I work as a manager in the Community Inclusion program at BACI, with a great deal of experience all over the Vancouver BC area within the sector. I have been teaching Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training to various staff teams for longer than I am willing to say.
Some of my passions are Pow Wow dancing, riding motorcycles and learning languages. I have a Triumph Street Triple 765 named Venom that has taken me on some pretty epic adventures. I enjoy spending time in culture when I can, dancing, singing, drumming, and connecting. I like to bead and hope to eventually make my own beaded regalia set for my Jingle Dress. I have two cats, Fred & Garry and an incredible husband who make my world go 'round.
